She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Jimmie Day and Freida May Meyers Day. She is survived by: her son Johnny Ray Simmons (Christy); and her brother Jimmie Dean Day. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren 12 Great-Grandchildren 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
