He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Luka and Virginia France Luka. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ryals Luka; his children, Lieutenant Colonel Will Luka (Kathryn), Sarah Luka LaSource (Jason) and Allison Luka Eckman (Wade); his grandchildren, Claire Luka, James Luka, Luke Eckman, Emma Grace Eckman and Kate LaSource; and his sisters, Pam Dorfman (David), Ann Hamiter (George) and Cathy Hawthorne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial contributions be made to Shepherd's Place Respite, where Bill spent many good days in his last years.
