She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kolbe and Saraphine Kolbe. She is survived by: her husband Robert Gilles; and her children, Linda Hoyle (Glenn) of Alabaster, Alabama, Sally Deane of Fairhope, Alabama, Robert Gilles (Alice) of Santa Cruz, California and David Gilles (Heidi) of San Jose, California. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Haven or Ecumenical Ministries.
