She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Foy Snell and Lucile Byrd Snell. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Marcus Herbert Smith; her children, Marc Smith (Anne) of Knoxville, TN and Kathy Smith Terry (John) of Plano, TX; her grandchildren, Dr. Meghan Smith, Dr. Allison Smith Lawson, Harrison Smith, Kaitlin Terry Canver and Chandler Grace Terry Peltier; and her great grandchild William Scott Lawson.
