He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Good and Gladys Good; his sister Gathie Good Williams; and his grandson Bryan Good. He is survived by: his wife Louise Good; and his children, Doug (Janice Good), Patti (Ken Alluise), Pam (Jimmy Maddox) and David (Christy Good). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church (8717 Fairhope Ave, Fairhope, AL 36532). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36527).
To honor Roy's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church Capital improvement fund (a fund which ultimately will be used to grow others in their faith walk, which was his passion).
