It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodgers Gene Perkins of Fairhope, Alabama, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. M. Perkins and Emma Catherine Rodgers Perkins; and his brothers, Aubrey, Jerry and Matt Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Stewart Perkins of Foley, AL; his children, Terry (Eva) of Daphne, AL, Steve (Donna) of Saraland, AL, Eric (Joann) of Des Moines, IA, Stewart (Kellie) of Foley, AL and Meg Perkins Wittendorfer (Brian) of Montrose, AL; and his grandchildren, Joshua, John, Jordan, Kyle, Nathan, Kaycie, Jeremy, Rosslyn, Ender, Aelwyn, Brooks and Rebekah (Sissy). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
