She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Keith Gates and Stephanie Gates of Fairhope; her siblings, Fred Gates (Angela) of Fairhope and Regina Amason (Gene) of Flowood, MS; her nieces and nephews, Olivia Gates of Fairhope, Audrey Amason of Flowood, MS, Trevor Gates of Fairhope, Charles Gates of Fairhope and Cash Amason of Flowood, MS; her aunts and uncles, Margaret Fox, Irene Lowe, Mark Gates and Peter Gates; and her pets, Julie Ann and Nova Grace.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Dwelling Place or Ronald McDonald House.
