We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2023, at the age of 88, Robert Peter Rucando of Fairhope, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary T. Rucando. He is survived by: his wife Alvida Van Iderstine Rucando; his children, Claire Smolenski (Alex), Adam Rucando (Susie), Paul Rucando (Tami), Matt Rucando, Jill Perkins, Susan Rutledge (Steve) and Debbie Woods (Alan); his brother John Rucando (Bee); and his grandchildren, Paul Anthony Perkins, Kelly Catalan, Flynn Woods, Emily Murphy, Alexander Smolenski, Faith Leonard, Zach Leonard, Cole Woods, Laura Smolenski, Robert Rucando, Josh Rutledge and Hannah Rutledge. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Patrick's Catholic School, P O Box 609, Robertsdale, Alabama.
