It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pleasant Church Jr. (Fairhope, Alabama), born in Moorhead, Mississippi, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pleasant Jesse Church, Sr. and Coallie Church (Woodruff); his wife Carolyn Church (Boothe) of Virginia; his sons, David Gregory (Georgia) and Steven Andrew Church; his sisters, Carolyn Jones and Marguerite Beard; his daughter Karen Flowers (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Carla Bundy, Amanda Lopez, Nathan Church, Kimberly Anderson and Jessica Stokes; and his sister Claudine Boland. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren.
