She is survived by: her husband Elie Merritt; her son Glen E. Merritt (Kris Merritt); her grandchildren, Glen "Rip" Merritt, Ryan E. Merritt and Reagan K. Merritt; and her siblings, Ed "Bubba" Obert, JoAnn Bradford of Houston, TX, Evalyn Lovell of Gardendale, AL and Pilly. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
