She was predeceased by: her parents, Wes Cook and Grace Cook; and her siblings, Jay Cook and Margie Chicca. She is survived by: her husband Rick McGinley; her sister Janet Schmidt (Doug) of Napa; her children, Amy McGinley of Bakersfield, California and Blake McGinley (Amber) of Fairhope, Alabama; and her grandsons, Ty McGinley and Jace McGinley. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made in her name to either USA Mitchell Cancer Institute in Fairhope or Lampro Asteri Shining Star Inc. supporting Fairhope's youth.
