She was predeceased by: her son Benson Ray Jones; her sister Patricia Howell Lindsey; and her parents, Julius Elvin and Annie Mae Walker Howell. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Denise Carmer (Dennis) of Stapleton, AL; and her siblings, Evelyn Howell Stanley (Ray) of Fayetteville, GA, Bonnie Howell Heaton of Steinhatchee, FL and Julius A. Howell (Donna) of Halls Fork.
