He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathy Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Thomas H. Thompson of Marrietta, OH, Rita Gustafson (Craig) of Roscoe, IL and Nita Mowdy of Rockton, IL; his grandchildren, Rysa Clark (Taylor), Tria Gustafson, Levi Thompson (Erin), Kelsey Medley Thompson (Craig), Ivy Carr and Destanee Mowdy; his great grandchildren, Shelby, Audrey Thompson, Myra, Cruz Thompson, Calvin and Quinn Carr; and his close friends, Mike Mitchell and Marianne Baltzer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fairhope VFW Post 5660.
