She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Bancroft and Louise Bancroft Hawkins; and her stepfather Arthur Ray Hawkins. She is survived by: her sister Linda Bancroft Weinacker; her brother-in-law Tom Weinacker; her nieces and nephews, Thomas Bancroft Weinacker (Ashley Bosarge Weinacker), Emily Louise Weinacker, Jonathan Nicolas Weinacker (Sonja Scheffler Weinacker), Bray Bancroft Weinacker and Zophia Dior Weinacker; her cousins, Cheryl "Sherry" Waldron, Marian Mathis, Kitty Clark, Ann Wilborn, Jean "Tootsie" Flynt, Polly Phillps, Pam Pate, Janie Pate, Patti Millette, Laura Louise Martin, Marcia "Marty" Martin and Robert Payne; her stepsiblings, Jille Votaw Hawkins and Michael Hawkins; and her nephew Troy Hawkins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
