She was predeceased by: her husband Peyton Saunders; her son George Mitchell; her grandson Matthew Mitchell; and her siblings, Ruth, Vivian, Jackie, Vera, Mack of Joe, W. J, Ray and Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Missy Saunders Fairhope, Mike Mitchell of Fairhope and John Mitchell (Kandi) of Butler, AL; her sister Barbara Stevens (Jack) of Theodore; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Mitchell and Jeremy Mitchell (Jessica). She is also survived by four great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
