She was predeceased by: her grandchild Maddox "Mel" Burts; her great grandchild Emily Paige Mayzes; her siblings, Pauline Bishop, Corrine "Cokie" Gillespie and Lorenza Brown; and her parents, Dempsey Brown and Nolia Brown.
She is survived by: her friend Cathy LaSource; her husband Richard; her children, Sheila Jones, Rodney Cink and Sandra Godwin (Michael); her grandchildren, Michael Burts (Caiti), Ryan Mayzes (Jessica), Cheyenne Cink, Hannah, Emily and Davis Godwin; her great grandchildren, Madison Burts, Caidence Habernehl, Jordan and Olivia Mayzes; and her siblings, Maxine Elliott and Kenneth Brown (Karen). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
