She was predeceased by: her husband Joe McCants; her son Joe McCants, Jr.; her siblings, Lee Eagy, Will, Elmer and Raymond Marshall; and her friend Willard Phillips.

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn McCants of Fairhope; and her brother John Marshall (Dot). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
