She is survived by: her mother Nett Stewart Thomas of Rabun, AL; her children, James Richard Strickland, III of Nashville, TN and Cassie Gibbs of Foley, AL; and her siblings, Matthew Thomas of Atmore, AL and Keisha Gibbs. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
