He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Chappell, Sr. and Irma Lois Chappell; and his son-in-law Gary Joseph Broussard. He is survived by: his wife Chinessa Chappell of Fairhope; his daughters, Deborah "Debbie" Broussard of Loxley, AL and Stephanie Gonthier (Keith) of Baton Rouge, LA; his grandsons, Nick Broussard (Heather), Blake Gonthier, Chad Broussard, Brandon Broussard, Jared Gonthier and Logan Gonthier; and his siblings, Carolyn Gadbois (Patrick) of Laurel, MS, Lois Redmon (Bruce) of Laurel, MS and John Chappell of Jasper, TX. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
