He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Morris and Mary Morris; his son Larry Landers Morris II (Landy); his brother Walter "Jack" Morris; his sister-in-law Glenda Morris; his sister Mary Morris Juergens; his brother-in-law Everett Juergens; his sister Martha Nix; his brother-in-law James Carlton Nix, Jr.; and his nephew James Thomas Joyce Jr. (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Youngblood Morris (Youngblood); his son Joey Morris (Tonya Gollotte) of Fairhope, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Andrew Morris, Patrick Morris, William Morris (Katie Morand) and Anna Louise Morris. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (1380 W Main St, Dothan, AL 36301). Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:30 PM at the same location.
