He is survived by: his wife Dawn McCarter of Fairhope; his sons, Kyle McCarter (Fairen) of Point Clear and Chase McCarter (Emily) of Albuquerque; his siblings, Larry McCarter of Travelers Rest, Gary McCarter (Janet) of Rosman and Cindy Raines (John) of Rosman; his aunt Imajean Galloway of Rosman; and his father-in-law William E. Hudson of Fairhope.
