We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2024, Jean Clarkson (Fairhope, Alabama), born in Bay Minette, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Stanford and John Stanford. She is survived by: her husband David Clarkson; her children, John Clarkson (Holly), Peyton Clarkson (Brittain Youngblood), Betsy Glenday (Nigel) and Joanna Clarkson; her grandsons, Connor and Max Glenday; and her sisters, Rosemary Tigrett and Janice Stanford.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar Fairhope Chapel (19698 Greeno Rd, Fairhope, AL 36532). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar St. James Episcopal Church (860 N Section St, Fairhope, AL 36532).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Boys and Girls Club or Rapahope Children's Retreat Foundation (Camp Rap-a-Hope), two of Jean's most beloved organizations.
