He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bishop of Fairhope, AL; his stepchildren, Sheila Hodson (Donnie), James L. Bishop Jr., Terri Hall, Tonya Clay (Mack), Cindy Brown and Eddie Ray Jerkins; and his brothers, Raymond Bishop of New Albany, MS, Arvol Bishop, Myles Bishop and Ray Bishop. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
