It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Izola McCants Wasp (Fairhope, Alabama), who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade McCants and Matilda McCants; her son Kelvin Wasp; her granddaughter Kandice Wasp; and her siblings, Baby Irvin McCants, Henry McCants, McCants Durgin of Florida, Ward McCants, Louise McCants Leath, John P. McCants, Cornelius McCants, Scotiea McCants Dacus and Katie McCants Coleman.
She is survived by: her husband Burnell Wasp; her children, Linda Quaites (Leslie) of Point Clear, AL, Cliffet Wasp of Point Clear, AL and Harold Wasp; her grandchildren, Toymeka Armstong (Phillip) of Memphis, TN, Zackery Wasp (Stephanie) and Leslie Quaites (Megan); her great grandchildren, Page, Rileigh, Kamryn, Elijah, Brooklyn and Tate; her adoptive son Wade Rutledge of Gahanna, OH; her children, Stacey Mitchell (Harvey) of Fairhope, AL and Tracey Miller (David) of Fairhope, AL; and her godchildren, Marty Dacus (Ben) of Point Clear, AL, Troy McCants and Renina McCants. She is also survived by nieces, other relatives and friends.
