She was predeceased by: her father Lee Andrew Dreher; and her husband John Thomas Nichols. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl McLaurin (Kevin) and Laurin Friday (Shane); her grandchildren, Amanda Hackler (Kendric) and Kyle McLaurin (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Amelia, Jack and Clara; and her siblings, Lawrence Lowrey Dreher (Marybeth) and Janice Dreher Caston (Jerry).
