She is survived by: her son Don Richard "Rick" Shearer; her daughter-in-law Laura Hiatt Shearer; her grandchildren, John Daniel Shearer, Katie Davidson (Jonathan) and Emily Powell (Lance); her brother Andrew Bernard Schottgen Jr.; and her stepsons, Ronnie Bishop, Gary Bishop and Tim Bishop. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
