He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris E. Ellis; his wife Gracie Turner Ellis; his grandson Andrew Thomas Ellis; and his great grandchild Abbigail Faith Harrison. He is survived by: his children, Doris Edith Lewis of Foley, Angela Diana Ellis of Fairhope, Windy J. Hoogerbuis (Ruud) of Holland Amsterdam, B. Rachel Grace Ellis of Foley and George Gabriel Ellis (Marilyn) of Marlow, AL; and his brother Ernest G. Ellis (Paulette) of Wetumpka, AL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
