He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Davis Nolte; his daughter Brenda Lee Nolte; his parents, John Nolte and Georgia McKenzie Nolte; his son-in-law Joe Berga; and his brothers, Henry Nolte, George Nolte and Ruben Nolte.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Hall (Martin Garelick), Melinda Berga, Fred Nolte, Jr. (Donnie Castleberry), Lisa Hodges and Denise Hurtado (Leonel). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; siblings, and many other loving relatives and friends.
