He was predeceased by: his parents, Zoie Walker Burnett and Ernest Elmore Burnett, Sr.; and his nephew Joe Pierce (Dawn). He is survived by: his wife Henrie Etta; his sister Zoie Jean Pierce (John); his daughters, Amie Burnett (Federico Martinez) and Laura Lee Cushing (Steven); his nephew Jon Pierce (Adriene); and also Zoie Walker. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-granddaughters.
