He is survived by: his pet Chester; his sons, David Nielson (Kit) of Lambertville and Jody Nielson (Lesa) of Huntsville, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Kory Nielsen (Sarah), Zackary Nielsen (Erika), Hannah Southorn (Anthony), Emily Weiss (Ryan) and Adam Nielsen. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; several nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
