She was predeceased by: her husband James Scott; and her brothers, Gary Burnett and Jimmy Burnett. She is survived by: her children, Jim Scott of Walker, LA and Angela Hernandez (Gene) of Katy, TX; her siblings, Alan Burnett (Kathy) of Brighton, MI and Holly Burnett; her granddaughter Emily Hernandez; and her friend Stephanie Christopher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Lawrence Catholic Church (370 S Section St, Fairhope, AL 36532). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
To honor Darlene's memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
