She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Banks and Lucy Banks. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Mitchell; her siblings, O'Neil Banks, Levi Banks Jr., Willie Banks Sr., Roosevelt H. Banks, John Horus Banks, Henry Banks, Della King and Mary McCants; her children, Terry Crosby of Daphne and Kirsten Nevills (Shelton) of Foley; her grandchildren, Brannon Crosby, Jayson Pownall and Nicholas Nevills; and also, George Jerkins, Kathy Nero and Elder Freddie Johnson. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Restoration Fellowship Ministries (9585 Milton Jones Rd, Daphne, AL 36526).
