She was predeceased by: her husband Robert B. Nelson. She is survived by: her son Robert Michael Nelson; her grandchildren, Annabeth Nelson and Abigail Nelson; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Thomas and Fran Baker; and her pet Spunky. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
