She was predeceased by: her husband William Burns (Bill); and her parents, William Martindale and Sarah Martindale. She is survived by: her brothers, William, Robert Martindale and Donald Brock; her son William Burns Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Janet (Edward Burns) of Carrabelle and Roxanne of Fairhope, AL.; her grandchildren, Heather Swearingen (Aaron), Sara Nolan (Keith), Morgan Hamacher (Jacob) and Ryan Burns (Victoria); and her great grandchildren, Jake, Haleigh Swearingen, Everly, Kinsey, Cameron Nolan and Declan Burns.

We ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola and the St. Vincent De Paul food Pantry at St Anne's Catholic Church in Pensacola.
