He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barnhart and Seebelle Barnhart; and his sisters, Dorothy Brinson, Willodean Steager (Tit), Glenda Barnhart and Gloria Barnhart.
He is survived by: his brothers, Carlton, Albert, Cleophus and Alvin Barnhart; his grandson Noah Braxton Gray; his daughter Shereta Gray (Jason); his grandchildren, Tyree Syion Blair and Jace Tyree Gray; his siblings, Alberta McCaskey (Alvin) of Teaneck, NJ, Alice Palmer (Cyril), Bronx, Seebelle Huddleston, Charles Barnhart (Beatrice) of Englewood, NJ, Richard Barnhart (Donita) and James Andrea Amen; his nephew Victor Clemon; and his cousin Class. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
