It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Carter (Fairfield, Alabama), who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her brother Alvin Lockett (Corinne); her nieces and nephews, Sherry Clay (Vernon), Elaine Hall, Tonya Lockett, Delphia Lockett Penson, Sidney Cole, William Wilkins, Jr., Walter Lockett, Jr. (Wanda) and Toussaint Lockett; and her aunts, Mattie Evans and Odelle Edwards. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
