He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John and Cora Martin Lewis, Sr.; his wife Fannie Mae Lewis; his children, Melvin Lewis (Tempie), William Lewis, Roderick Royal (Yolanda), Sandra Lewis, Donna King, LaNiece Redd (Douglas), TraNiece Davenport (Aaron) and Wanda Porter (Danny); and his siblings, Richard Lewis (Bessie), Leon Lewis (Charlotte), Ruth Brewster, Thelma Johnson, Velma Bell and Joyce Hanberry (Oliver). He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
