Jefferson Wilder of Fairfield, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on September 15, 2002, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Columbus Jefferson and Fannie Jefferson; her husband Herbert Wilder, Sr.; her siblings, Fannie Jean Mitchell and O. C. Jones (Connie); and her children, Ethel Hicks-Battle of Fairfield, Vanessa Hayden of Fairfield, Maxine Hicks of Fairfield, Stephanie Wilder of Fairfield, Herbert Wilder, Jr. of Fairfield, Patricia Stokes (Jessie) of Boston, MA, Nancy Hammond and Regina Wood. She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and loving friends.
