With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettye Murphree (Fairfield, Alabama), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on March 3, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Burdette Smith and Mildred Coomer Smith; her husband Marvin Monford Murphree; and her brothers, Frank B. Smith Jr. and Charles L Smith.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Frances Murphree of Cropwell. She is also survived by eight nieces and two nephews and by a number of great nieces, great nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews.
