He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Leon Black and Viola Gertrude Hall Black; his wife Helen Clair Carter Black; and his brothers, Billy Black and Charles Black.
He is survived by: his sons, Leon Black (Kay) of Excel, AL, Roy Black (Lisa) of Excel, AL and Chuck Black (Alva) of Excel, AL; and his sisters, Maggie Jewel Motes and Mary Viola Calvert. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
