He is survived by: his wife Beverly Alderman of Excel, Ala.; and his children, Dewayne Austin Alderman of Excel, Ala., Gidget Mott of Gulf Breeze, Fla. and Juliejo Christina Alderman of Excel, Ala.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
