He is survived by: his wife Vicki Sims of Excel; his children, Josh Joyner (Kelly) of Excel, Dale William Sims, II and Jessica Coleman of Excel; his brother Joseph Daryl Sims "Joe" (Cheryl) of Orlando, Fla.; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Molly, Ally Martin Joyner, Hunter Salter (Mary Kathrine), Rayleigh Coleman Stacey (Nick) and Kennedy Coleman; his great grandchildren, Harper Ann Salter and John Fisher Salter; and his nieces and nephews, Kyle Sims (family: Cory Sims) and Katie Sims Williams.
