He was predeceased by: his parents, James Augustas T. Baggett and Ella Emery Baggett; his wife Harriet Hall Baggett; and his siblings, Everrett Emery Baggett, Richard Augustus Baggett, Norma Talmadge Glass and Mariam M. Scruggs.
He is survived by: his children, Wiley Lloyd Baggett of Excel, Carolyn Baggett Lloyd (Robbie) of Excel and Julia Baggett Mosley (Craig) of Huntsville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
