William Newton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Newton of Evergreen, Alabama, born in Greenville, Alabama, who passed away on September 26, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Earl and Beatrice Newton; his wife Doris Boswell Newton; and his siblings, Earl Newton and Myrlene Philpot.

He is survived by: his children, Greg Newton (Pam) of Pace, FL and Ina Harrison of Panama City, FL; his siblings, Sterling Newton (Mary Frances) of Homerville, GA, Delane Whittle of Greenville, AL, Alice Faye Mullins of Greenville, AL, Jean Thompson (Malcolm) of Greenville, AL and Linda Black of Lenoir, NC; and his grandchildren, Christy Kelly, Sasha Oliver (Chris), Casey Melton (Sean), Nicole Gilbert, Will Newton, Madison Newton and Wyn Newton. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
