It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Farmer of Evergreen, Alabama, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roy Farmer II and Myrtle Ruth Wiltz; his stepfather Eugene Wiltz; and his niece Sarah Betterton. He is survived by: his wife Pam Farmer; his stepsons, Chase Hall and Chris Hall (Sam); his grandchildren, Mary Katherine Hall and Karson Hall; his brother Gene Wiltz; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Foley (Rusty), Steve Betterton and Shannon Betterton (Deborah); and his nephews, Jamie Betterton (Jessica), Andy Betterton, Kolton Betterton (Kim) and Abbott Betterton (Gracie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (218 AL-106, Georgiana, AL 36033). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery (3300 Mt Pisgah Rd, Georgiana, AL 36033).
