He is survived by: his wife Penelope "Penny" Philyaw; his children, Robert Eugene Philyaw II of Andalusia, Vanissa Vaughan (William) of Evergreen and Joseph Philyaw (Angie) of Pensacola; and his siblings, Winford Mack Philyaw (Elaine) of Coosada, J. W., Willie Earl Philyaw (Caryl) of Deltona, FL., Houston Philyaw (Selina) of Pensacola, Elizabeth Clark of Panama City and Ruby Mowrey of Andalusia. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
