He is survived by: his children, Richard Hilton Sheffield (Amanda) of Georgiana, Wesley Sheffield (Elizabeth) of Evergreen and Lynda Varner (Anthony) of Evergreen; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Jonathan Sheffield, Brian Sheffield, Summer Sheffield, James Bass, Joseph Sheffield, Emily Schaecher, Emory Sheffield and Skylar Sheffield.
