She was predeceased by: her father Clyde Schumpert. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Dudley Godwin of Evergreen; her children, Nathan Kennedy (Susan) of Chelsea, AL., Denise Gunter (Braxton) of Centerville, Mitzi Davis (Richie) of Meridian and Tiffani Hood (Steven) of Tuscaloosa; and her sister Wilodyne Barnette of Brewer. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
