She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolando Zapata, Sr. and Clara Virgen Sierra Zapata; her brother Carlos Zapata; and her nephew Rafael J. Toledo (Louis Lagares). She is survived by: her son Matthew Toledo (Roxanne); her siblings, Rolando Zapata, Jr. (Margracy), Raul Zapata and Sandra Core (Luis); her sister-in-law Vincenza Zapata; her nephews, Daniel Zapata (Kim) and Isaac Zapata; her niece Lisa McManus Shilo Castro (Felix); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Zapata, Faith Zapata, Madison Zapata, Devon Zapata, Mia Zapata, Ryan McManus, Kaizen Castro and Kalea Castro; her grandchildren, Kiera Morales, Sadie Taveras and Elijah Erwin Toledo; and her great grandchild Ezekiel Ortiz.
