He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hardy and Margaret Hardy; and his brother Larry Hardy. He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Hardy; his children, Robert Hardy (Tawee) of Lowndesboro, AL, Jerry Hardy Jr. (Jennifer) and Kim Johns of Puerto Rico; his stepsons, Gary Spears of Geneva, AL and Steve Spears (Amanda) of Geneva, AL; and his sister Carol Hall (Richard) of Brewton, AL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cope-Keahey Funeral Home (705 Perryman St, Evergreen, AL 36401). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pilots for Christ, a Children's Home or to a charity of ones choice.
